Janet is one of the thousands of Americans who have been forced to sacrifice their homes & parts of their daily lives just to barely afford their high medical bills.

Republican attacks on healthcare are making it impossible for hardworking families to keep their heads above water.

As Italian American heritage month comes to an end, I’d like to thank Ambassador Marco Peronaci for his visit to Wooster Square to witness the vibrant Italian history within our district.

This is where many of our stories have been told, and so many new chapters will be written.

Secretary McMahon’s Education Department is gearing up to garnish the wages of Americans to pay student loans while they struggle to afford food and gas.

She’s also apparently spending more than many Americans owe on furniture for her office: $43,000.

Dolores Huerta was a giant of the labor movement. The fights she won ensured future generations of American workers wouldn't have to suffer unsafe conditions for low wages.

I'm praying for her family, & the millions of workers whose lives are better because of her. We will carry the fight forward.

I was proud to stand in solidarity with United Steelworkers Local 12160 – Regional Water Authority employees who keep our water safe and flowing every day.

Workers deserve fair contracts, affordable health care, and respect on the job. I stand with them in this fight.

Rising diesel prices are driving up school costs, forcing tough choices that could mean fewer resources for our kids.

Working families are already struggling with rising costs. We cannot afford to sacrifice our children's future to fund Trump's illegal war.

FactPost @factpostnews.bsky.social

NBC: The price of diesel fuel has gone up much quicker than many school districts were prepared to handle. In Yakima, Washington, the increase is equivalent to the cost of two full-time teachers, forcing tough decisions directly impacting kids.

President Trump’s oil and gas stocks nearly doubled in value since he started the war with Iran.

President Trump is right: he and his billionaire friends are making a fortune. But at your expense.

As Trump brags about U.S. oil and gas company profits, his stocks gained millions during Iran war

A report from congressional Democrats found the president purchased millions in oil and gas stocks during the war.

While Americans pay more at the pump because of a war President Trump started, giant corporations & their investors, like Trump, are cashing in & bragging.

His gains must be investigated, & we must bring an end to the Iran War to finally bring down the price of oil.

Rosa DeLauro @delauro.house.gov Oct 26

As President Trump lines his own pockets and those of his billionaire friends, millions of working families are paying the price of a cost-of-living crisis he created.

It’s time to investigate Trump’s profits, end the war in Iran, and bring down costs for American families.

FactPost @factpostnews.bsky.social

Trump currently holds up to $81 million in oil and gas stocks. His stocks have increased in value by 43% since the end of 2025.

With extreme weather & natural disasters on the rise, Americans should be able to turn to FEMA in moments of distress.

Instead, DHS funds are going to ballrooms, private planes, & political ads. Those are their priorities, not our families’ safety.

FEMA tells states to handle disasters on their own

The Trump administration plans to cut disaster aid in as few as six months and shift responsibility to states, FEMA's administrator said in remarks obtained by POLITICO.

This is a pattern of abuse by the Israeli government. Detain peaceful volunteers and Palestinians while turning a blind eye to violent, Israeli settlers.

I am deeply grateful to hear that Pope Leo XIV is cancer-free.

I am praying for His Holiness’ continued good health, strength, and many more years of faith, hope, and service to humanity and Catholics around the world.

Vladimir Putin is not a humanitarian. He’s a tyrant, a criminal, & currently at war with our ally Ukraine, where he is kidnapping children & deliberately targeting civilians.

Trump is in league with Moscow. We can’t even call this complacent. It looks more like collaboration.

Top Trump Aide Steve Witkoff, to Vladimir Putin: "You talk so much about Trump being a humanitarian, you are a humanitarian also, sir. I salute you, and I commend you."

I am glad the Board of Alders is fighting to defend academic freedom and Yale students.

There is no doubt Yale is being pushed up against the wall, but this is when our integrity matters the most. Our community demands that Yale not capitulate to the Trump Administration.
